About this listing
The 1974 Gurian JM is a vintage jumbo-sized acoustic flat-top guitar featuring a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a distinct pinched-waist body design built by Michael Gurian. This example is in good overall condition. There are some chips in the bridge plate and one repaired crack in the center of the fingerboard from the 12th fret to the soundhole. There are also some marks in the finish on the back that can only be seen at certain angles - likely from laying on a PVC strap. Neck width is 1.662" at the nut and 2.112" at the 12th fret. Neck depth is .926" at the 1st fret and 1.014" at the 10th. Weighs 4.28 pounds and ships in the tattered but fully-functional HSC shown.
