The Falcon 5 is a high-end all-tube combo that marks Gibson’s return to the amplifier world, developed with the help of Randall Smith and the Mesa/Boogie team. Inspired by the vintage Skylark and Falcon models of the ’50s–’60s, it is a simple Class A amp with Volume, Tone, and Reverb controls, built with a modern boutique approach. It delivers around 7 watts (or 3 watts via a built-in attenuator) using a 6V6 power tube, through a 10-inch Jensen Blackbird Alnico speaker, with tube-driven spring reverb and a monitor DI output. Its character is very vintage, with rich, touch-sensitive cleans, a beautiful edge of breakup, and a highly organic natural overdrive when pushed. Designed for home, studio, or small gigs, it focuses more on tone and dynamics than on extreme versatility. In very good condition, sold with its cover.More pix and details upon request.
