Dave Friedman has been designing and building guitar rigsfor the stars since the early nineties. After two decades of modding amplifiersand consulting for other well-known amplifier companies, Dave finally broughthis talent to a new line of production amps under his name Friedman Amplification.Probably the most important of all the Friedman artists is Alice in Chains main man Jerry Cantrell. Having spent time honing and perfecting the rig that delivers Jerry's dynamic and at times crushing tone, through their previous collaboration, the JJ-100, they decided to deliver that same tonal magic into a stage friendly 20-watt monster, the JJ-Junior.The JJ-Junior still gives you the same 2-channel, EL-poweredtone that has carved out a legendary place in rock. All of the saturated,complex harmonic overtones are still lurking inside, as well as the AC30-likecleans. At 20 watts, the JJ-Junior letsyou take the stage, studio, or jam session with total confidence.The JJ has a host of incredible modern features including aninternal load and cab simulated XLR out. Dave Friedman designed this circuit torival the most intricate IRs to give you a crystal clear signal to send to theFOH or for use in the studio. The JJ Junior also allows you to play"silently," meaning you can safely play the amp WITHOUT having aspeaker cabinet connected. The XLR output includes a ground-lift, level, and centre/edgeof speaker cone simulation switches.At the heart of the JJ Junior combo is a 16-ohm, 12Celestion G12M 65 Creamback speaker that delivers the bass, mid response andsignature tone of Jerry Cantrell.If you dig Cantrell, this amp is essential but you better believethis is more than just another signature amp, this is a turbo charged tonemachine to rival them all!
