Fender Jag-Stang JAG-70 Reissue SBL (Sonic Blue)—the designation for the 2003 reissue of this iconic guitar (formerly the JSG-65), manufactured in Japan in 2004. It is relatively rare on the used market, as these models are highly sought after in Japan for their superior build quality.Designed by Kurt Cobain in collaboration with Fender, this guitar is a unique fusion of the Fender Jaguar and the Fender Mustang. Kurt Cobain played this model on tour from 1993 to 1994. It features a three-way switch for each pickup, with options for out-of-phase or parallel wiring. It delivers unique, distinctive tones with plenty of character and a stunning look.
