Overview
The Behringer MS-1 Analog Synthesizer (formerly MS-101) pays homage to the classic Roland SH-101 from the 1980s, with a design and feature set that calls to the vintage original but in a more affordable package. The MS-1 features an authentic 3340 analog oscillator with four simultaneously mixable waveforms—saw, triangle, square, and octave-divided square sub-oscillator—and 32 semi-weighted, full-sized keys. There are six FM sources for VCF modulation and filter effects, and a super intuitive and step-sequencer with 64 sequence locations. An excellent choice for those looking for an affordable analog synth capable of classic sounds.
