About This Model
The Behringer FBQ6200HD is a 31-band stereo graphic equalizer built for live sound and studio use. Each of its two channels offers 31 bands of EQ alongside sweepable high-cut and low-cut filters, dedicated limiters with gain reduction metering, and highly accurate 8-segment LED input/output metering with input gain controls. A standout feature is the FBQ Feedback Detection System, which instantly highlights problem frequencies by illuminating the LED on the corresponding fader — doubling as a useful audio analyser. Connectivity covers XLR and 1/4" TRS servo-balanced inputs and outputs per channel, plus a dedicated mono subwoofer output with an adjustable crossover (30–200 Hz) and level control. A pink noise generator aids room calibration, and a relay-controlled hard bypass with auto-bypass on power failure keeps signal flowing safely. The unit runs on a universal switching power supply (100–240 V) and uses ultra-low noise 4580 dual op-amps throughout, with a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 94 dB.
