1978 Fender Jazz Bass with a Black finish in good condition. Maple neck and fingerboard, with white binding. It's missing the metal covers and thumbrest and comes in a later fender case - otherwise all original.

The body finish has a few patches of wear through the finish as well as minor scuffs and tiny dings, mainly around the edges. The neck finish is clean overall with just a few small areas of wear. The headstock has some wear around the edges. The frets have been cleaned and dressed in our workshop, and have lots of life left in them. The truss rod works as it should, and the neck is straight.

The bass has been set up in our workshop and is strung with round-wound strings. Serial: S842100. Weight: 11 lbs 7.5 oz / 5.2 kg. Nut Width 38.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret 22.5 mm. The pickup dates are not visible as the sponge has stuck to the underside. The neck date is also not visible. The volume pot dates are obscured by solder. Only the tone pot has a visible date, which is the 31st week of '77.
