Hand-carved West African djembe in good playing condition. The instrument has hardly been played. I've been using it as a decorative piece in my house.
The drum features a solid hardwood shell with a traditional rope tuning system and a natural goatskin head. The carved base is decorated with a distinctive snake motif, giving the instrument an attractive handcrafted appearance.
Visible chisel marks inside the shell indicate traditional hand carving rather than machine production.
The drum produces a warm bass and clear slap tones and is suitable for beginners, advanced players, drum circles, and percussion enthusiasts.
