OCTA brings the legendary sound of classic analog TR-808 drum machines into the modular world, staying true to its original circuits while expanding their creative range.

With 4 independent voices, individual outs, drive CV control, tilt EQ, and compression, OCTA gives you full control over the tone and dynamics of your rhythm section.

Analog Core

OCTA stays faithful to the original TR-808 circuits, preserving their legendary analog warmth. What’s new? Voices include some extra parameters: Kick Tune, Snare Snap, Hat Tone… plus Drive to add saturation and character. You get the timeless sound you love, with modern tools to shape it!

Drive & Dynamic Saturation

Each channel includes dedicated tone-shaping controls, plus a Volume/Drive knob that adds soft clipping and character. Drive is CV-controllable and when a CV is patched in, the Drive knob becomes an attenuator for the incoming signal.

Performance ready

Every voice comes with a dedicated trigger input, a mute switch, and its own audio output. That means you can patch each drum separately, apply FX, or isolate them in a mix, and quickly kill any sound live without unplugging anything. Tweak and route your drums like a real modular instrument, not just a drum box. Want more bite on your snare or a pulsing kick with a modulated edge? Just patch it in!

Master Tilt EQ & Compressor

All voices are summed into a master mix output, passing through a tilt EQ and compressor. Shape the global tone with a single knob and compress your mix to keep things tight or crunchy. Bonus: a sidechain output lets you duck external signals to the beat.
