Rare B&D Montana Silver Bell Style No. 4 Tenor Banjo

A Beautifully Ornate Vintage Collector’s Piece

An absolutely exceptional and historically significant Bacon & Day Montana Silver Bell Style No. 4 tenor banjo. This premium pre-war instrument represents the pinnacle of Fred Bacon’s craftsmanship. Serial number 22752 dates the instrument to the late 1920s—widely regarded as the golden age of American banjo making.

This remarkable historic banjo was greatly treasured and lovingly cared for by my father-in-law. I would now like to pass it on to a collector—or, even better, a musician—who will truly appreciate its craftsmanship and vintage character.
