Neve 1073/Modded 1272 1974 - British Military Grey
These units began life as 1272 Neve line amplifiers from a 1974 Neve console. They were professionally modified and racked by a former Neve technician to meet full 1073 specifications, using only genuine new old stock and period-correct Neve components throughout.
They were originally commissioned for Noel Hogan (The Cranberries), from whom I purchased them approximately 10 years ago. The units have been recently serviced and are in excellent working condition.
Sonically, they deliver the classic 1073 character — big, punchy low end, rich midrange, and smooth musical top. They sound absolutely incredible.
The rack contains 7 preamps (wired for 8) and is powered by a Tweed Audio PU110 psu.
