Beyerdynamic MCD 100 Digital Condenser Microphone + MPD 200 PSU

Direct-to-Digital AES/EBU Professional Quality Studio Microphone System. Beyerdynamic MCD 100 digital large-diaphragm condenser microphone with the original MPD 200 power supply / control unit. This is a true direct-to-digital microphone system. The MCD 100 converts the microphone signal to digital inside the microphone itself, outputting a 24-bit / 48 kHz. The MPD 200 supplies power, gain control and clocking, and connects directly to your audio interface, recorder or digital console. The MCD 100 sounds open, smooth and very direct, without harshness. It has a wide, even frequency response. The gain control interacts with the internal overload protection: Higher gain settings (up to +36 dB) give the sound more density and body. Peaks stay safely controlled at maximum digital level.

From the microphone to the MPD 200 use a standard balanced XLR microphone cable and from the MPD 200 to your interface/recorder/console use standard AES/EBU (XLR) digital cable. The result is a very short, clean and stable signal path with low noise and excellent consistency.

The system is fully functional and is in good condition besides some dents in the grille of the microphone that does not impact functionality.
