This unit can use cheap standard 2x 1.5V AA batteries (most common choice, BATTERIES ONLY INCLUDED FOR DOMESTIC POSTAGE), or 1x Sennheiser BA 2015 Rechargeable Accupack (NOT INCLUDED) - or it can even be operated via a DC adapter (NOT INCLUDED).

Built like a tank with German engineering, the casing is part metal and made to last.

This unit has been wiped down externally and also has a clean battery compartment inside.

For documentary, Mobile Journalism and audio for video applications, this powerful camera receiver is easily mounted on any kind of camera. It is compact and rugged, with a lightweight aluminium housing. 

It uses adaptive diversity technology and is to be deployed with a companion transmitter as part of a wireless RF monitoring system.

The receiver operates within the bandwidth of 606-648 MHz (giving the maximal switching bandwidth of 42 MHz) though there is some overlap with each bandwidths either side of this one. There are 1,680 transmission frequencies, tunable in 25 kHz steps. The receiver features 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 12 compatible frequency presets and 1 user bank with up to 12 user programmable frequencies.

The receiver is menu-driven with a backlit LC display showing the current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, metering of RF level, metering of AF level, lock status, muting function or line output level, pilot tone evaluation, and battery status.

An auto-lock feature is provided to prevent settings from being accidentally altered.

The receiver parameters are programmable in the receiver menu.
