  "REAL DEAL" NOT A REISSUE! Made In England!
This is really Cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1969 Marshall Plexi 50 Watt Model 1987 Head. This is the Holy Grail of guitar amps from that era. This is the "Real Deal" NOT a Reissue. This Amp sounds flat out Incredible. It has been fully serviced and is Ready to Rock!  
This is the Real Deal made in 1969 (original inspection tag dated1969). One unique thing about this particular amp is that it was outfitted with FOUR speaker outputs (instead of the standard two outputs). Upon consulting about this with our Amp Tech, he believes that this is original to the amp since all the jacks are original and there appears to be no re-soldering of any kind. Quite possibly a special-ordered feature for a customer. These "one-of-a-kind" built Marshalls were common in their earlier years of building making this one an extra rare find.
The amp gets it name from the smooth gold plexiglass front and back panels. The five digit serial number can be found on the back panel. This amp was all point to point handwired. The attached power cord indicates it was made the US market. The front of the head has a polarity switch (hum elimination), an off/on switch, standby switch, indicator light, knobs for presence, bass, middle and treble. There are also two volume knobs and four inputs. The amp is in really good shape with normal cosmetic signs of age and some bumps in the telex covering. The well built legendary Marshall Plexi amp sounds incredible, is reliable as a new amp and has that classic Marshall tone. Having one of the most effective tone controls I've ever seen on any Marshall, it's clean, bright, warm and LOUD. Has singing sustain and is rich in history.
Our Amp Tech did a Major Service on this Plexi. The Transformer has been replaced. A brand new Heyboer was installed. A power tube socket was replaced. New filter Caps. Fuse holder replaced. All Pots and Jacks were cleaned. Fully Functional. Everything Works Correctly. You will NOT have to spend any additional monies on this amp. An Aftermarket Marshall Logo was installed.
Ultra Rare Amp. Sounds Off The Charts! It ROARS! Pro Level Amp. Not too many of these still around.

Cosmetics: Good Condition. There are a few War Wounds on this Amazing Amp. Keep in mind that this is a 49+ year old Vintage Amp. There are some Tears, Scuffs and Scratches in the Tolex. The "Plexi" Bezel is in nice shape. All lettering is clear and legible. The former owner's name "Don Story" of the Reginald Jefferies Blues Band is stenciled on the side and back of the cabinet. Very Authentic. The wear is what gives this Plexi it's charm. Dripping with "Mojo" It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
