You're looking at the Shure 579SB, which is quite a unique looking Shure microphone that may have been made to compete with the likes of the 635A. This mic sounds nice, and would offer a different flavor of sound compared to the EV variant or even the other Shure offerings. The capsule design looks to be real old school, and it looks like they never changed the design from the 1960s!
