The Momose brand is launching “EQS (Equipement Souvenir),” a limited-edition lineup of instruments that will hopefully become a cherished piece of music for anyone who picks one up. The word “Souvenir,” translated as “souvenir” in English, means “memory” or “remembrance” in French. With these words as the theme, we have created special models for this lineup, so that when you see, touch, or listen to a model, it will remind you of the precious memories that were formed with that model.

The most distinctive feature of this lineup is that they are “one-of-a-kind guitars. The most important feature of this lineup is that they are “one-of-a-kind guitars.” Each individual tree has its own unique grain pattern, which makes them look like no two guitars in the world, but the coloring and pickguard combination for each individual guitar in this lineup makes them the only one in the world.

This lineup includes models made from four types of wood: cherry, Japanese horse chestnut, sassafras, and pale moon. The time the trees have spent accumulating annual rings, grain, and grain patterns, and the Asuka factory craftsmen's hands create a unique and irreplaceable piece of wood that comes to life as a musical instrument.

Pale moon wood is characterized by its bold black grain. Its clear black lines, similar to those of Japanese black persimmon, leave a strong impact on the viewer.
