It's a magic, holy grail Greco!

Sometimes you just get lucky. There are guitars and then there are guitars. This gem is a rare 1979/80 Greco Super Real Custom in Cherry Burst. These were produced for one year only (1979-1980). The serial dates it as May 1980 making it one of the last Custom Super Reals ever produced. It's as good as they get. Fujigen were already knocking out better Les Pauls than anything coming from the Norlin era Gibson factory and this one is top of the heap. Choice mahogany solid body (no chambers), Indian rosewood, screaming hot Maxon humbuckers, gold hardware, triple-bound body and headstock. Bound neck. It's virtually unplayed with no visible fretware or even a pick mark. Totally original. The action is low with no buzzing or deadspots and the neck is dead straight. Holds tune like a true Les Paul (as in prepare to make adjustments to that G string on the fly). It's a beauty. There is one small nick on the front and some shellac lifting on the headstock with two small nicks (see photos). Some age tarnish and pitting on the hardware. Ships in a period Japanese hardcase.
