The “Mirror Rod” is a connecting rod that solves the problem of the left pedal movement, which is a challenge for twin pedals, and realizes an overwhelmingly smooth playing feel without any rattle.

By using ball bearings in the joint and eliminating rattle to the maximum extent possible, it is possible to achieve the same action between the left and right pedals.

In addition, aluminum is used for the rod material, achieving light weight while maintaining rigidity.

In addition, by placing the ball bearing in the joint as close as possible to the center of the rotation axis, the connecting rod itself can be rotated smoothly with little force

In addition, by simplifying the installation method to the pedal and the procedure for adjusting the length, the effort and time required for setup has been significantly reduced.

・Zero Latency with Ball Bearings

By eliminating rattle in the moving parts, we have thoroughly eliminated power loss and pursued the realization of “zero latency”, which aims to faithfully transmit the force when stepping on the left pedal to the force that moves the beater.

Equipped with 4 ball bearings on each side of the joint, for a total of 8 on the left and right.

By installing a ball bearing, we have eliminated the delayed response of the left pedal and the difference in pedaling feel, achieving the same pedaling feel on both the left and right pedals.

・Optimized Bearing Position

In addition to reducing the weight of the connecting rod itself while maintaining its rigidity by using aluminum material, the ball bearing, which is the heaviest part of the rod, is placed as close as possible to the center of the rotating axis.

This brings the center of gravity closer to the center of the axis, and by designing the rod itself to rotate with less force, we have achieved a light and smooth action.

・Easy & Quick Setup

By reducing the number of mounting bolts to the pedal and the rod length adjustment bolts, we have achieved simpler operability.

It can be easily set up by simply operating a total of three square head bolts.

・Pedal shaft mounting part

In order to achieve strong fixing force even with a single bolt, it is designed to be fixed to the pedal side shaft with a wide surface via a "holding plate".

In addition, the shape of the "holding plate" has been devised to add the following alignment function and empty tightening function, which are convenient when attaching the connecting rod to the pedal and when removing the connecting rod from the pedal and carrying it.

・Improved maintenance

The pedal connection and rod length adjustment parts, which are frequently operated, are designed to be replaceable when worn down over years of use, allowing you to use the connecting rod for a long time.

When attached to a Pearl twin pedal (Demon series or Eliminator series), it may come off during play.

This is because the rod attachment part of the Pearl twin pedal is shorter than that of the TAMA one.

We do not recommend installing this on a Pearl twin pedal. Thank you for your understanding.
