Breaker, breaker.
Here is an Astatic D104 Lollipop mic from the early 80s. These were made for ham radio operation but make terrific harmonica and garage vocal mics. This one is in great shape, tested and working well. Includes desktop stand.
The D-104 was manufactured by Astatic in Conneaut, Ohio and was to be used as a public address mic as it's non-directional. It was a very popular design (often called the lollipop) for this company and they continued to make the D-104 for many decades
retaining the same overall style but this was a D-104 with the later model glued on
aluminum badge. The earlier version has the riveted badge.
A very cool piece in good
cosmetic condition that would be excellent for any live application.
The mic still has the original element and is 100% working with a strong signal. You can
use this for a HAM radio or as a harp mic due to it's high impedance setting being void of bass.
