ESP GrassRoots Kirk Hammett signature guitar made in Japan - mid 90's

This is a must-have guitar for the Metallica collector looking to complete their collection. This is an early model with the ESP "bullet" truss-rod cover when these were built in Japan. This was an exclusive model built only for the Japanese market by ESP. It has all of the distinctive cosmetic features of Kirk's own model: Skull and cross-bone inlays, reverse headstock, locking tremolo, double humbuckers and of course everything black. This model is much more difficult to find than your typical LTD-602 or ESP KH2 guitar. Like the earliest of Kirk's signature guitars (see my other listing for his first-year ESP Hammett M-II) this does not have his signature on the headstock.
