Taylor is proud to introduce the 914ce Builders Edition, the latest addition to the highly acclaimed Builder’s Edition series. The 914ce Builder’s Edition is an exceptional guitar in both sound and vision and takes the flagship 900 series model to new heights with elegant features that will appeal to enthusiasts, collectors, and wood lovers alike. The Grand Auditorium body shape is Taylor’s most versatile body shape, perfect for fingerstyle to moderate strumming. Also an exceptional choice for stage, recording, or anyone looking for a guitar that can handle a variety of applications. Honduran Rosewood is known for a strong bass response yet is denser than Indian rosewood and will exude a rich, warm low end. Paired with a sinker redwood top, normally reserved for presentation and custom models, this wood captures the essence of cedar yet with more projection and dynamic range.
Premium builder’s edition features include beveled armrest, beveled cutaway, chamfered body edge treatment, contoured wing bridge, premium Gotoh 21:1 gold tuning machines, Hawaiian koa purfling and paua edge treatment on the top and back, Belle Fleur fretboard and headstock inlays, kona edge burst on the back and sides, gloss ebony headstock overlay and backstrap, and award winning Expression 2 active electronics. This amazing guitar ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
