Fender Dale Wilson Custom Shop Thinline Telecaster Paisley Heavy Relic Masterbuilt CS

Anyone familiar with Dale Wilson knows he doesn't build bad or even average guitars. We have sold quite a few standout guitars from Fender's best Custom Shop builder over the years and this is up there with the very best of them. Dale's order books are closed now, Fender will not take any new orders and his current wait time is 6+ years. So on to the guitar, and it's an absolutely stunning 2019 Fender 1968 Reissue Gold Paisley Thinline Telecaster Relic. We have seen some '68 solid body Paisley relics from Dale, they show up, but never another Thinline Paisley relic - this thing is special. It looks as if it's seen every single bar across the U.S. over the last 5 decades; and plays like an absolute beast too. I don't know how he does it, but it has the comfortable easy action to match the looks; a guitar that feels well worn in and easy to play. The balance and resonance is incredible, it sounds fantastic, and the relic work is second to none. It's also nice and light at just 2.6kg.
