Beautiful and very rare guitar handmade in Italy by the master Luigi Mozzani in the early of 1900’s (L.Mozzani died in the 1943, this guitar was made between 1908 and 1920 circa).
Mozzani was the master of Mario Maccaferri who make the world famous Selmer guitar used by Django Reinhardt.

This guitar is in exceptional condition and it’s completely original and complete in all its parts. Only a couple of gears of the machine heads was replaced in the past.
Originals bone nut, bone pins and bone saddles.
Fully playable condition, new Aquila Ambra 900 strings. (That kind of strings are made by Aquila for historical guitars.)

A really historical masterpiece in original and fully playable condition.
“Mozzani” mark is impressed inside on two sides of the back, are visible from the soundboard hole. (See pictures.)

Mozzani was a luthier, a world famous guitar player and a composer.

In his life he made guitars, harp guitars, mandolins and bow instruments.
Mozzani’s guitars are very appreciate instruments and players like A. Segovia played a Mozzani guitar.
All of his guitars are one of kind, every instruments is a little bit different from other, so it’s an unique piece.
