We took a beautiful original 60s Strat body and bridge and we gutted and replaced everything with the EMG (Made in USA) DG20 David Gilmore loaded pickguard. Bolted on a super clean ‘97 American Standard neck. All new hardware. It’s a restomod! Wow!!!

I’ll be honest, the body seems ash vs alder due to the weight and grain but I’m not completely sure. Weighs in at 7lb 2oz. The copper lined routing and electronics that came in her show this was owned by a pro. The electronics will find new life elsewhere…. The heavy body and the 6 screw tremolo play and feel amazing and has a mojo that can’t be replicated. The tell tale dowel marks and rounded shape confirm the original body … but I have no further info.

This is truly a serious player! It’s feel and playability are remarkable and one of the best Strats I’ve ever laid my hands on. It stays in my house and it’s my reference piece for everything strat. I even put on the ashtray!!!

Add a killer strap and now you have a badass Vintage Gilmore Strat!

It sounds amazing and plays like butter!!!

This is an all USA real deal!!

Comes in a new Fender deluxe hard shell case (not original).
