Juwel Vintage Archtop Guitar From 1950 Walnut Brown

I am offering this very rare old lady built by 'Juwel' during the 50ties.

History :
Juwel was a small instrument manufacturer who has built high quality instruments in the golden age of German guitars before the shop closed and the government nationalized the instrument production under "Musima" during the DDR. As he couldnt produce a high amount of his own guitars, juwel guitar became very rare.

The guitar and the condition:
This fully carved archtop guitar was completely made of walnut wood which provides a very warm and clear sound (see the video for an example) I love the brightness of the sound.
The guitar has a lot of lacquer scratches which can be seen on the pictures. None of them is serious damage. Body is solid and the action is good for its age. (2,9mm on the 12th fret). The neck has a small bow at the first two frets. not too bad but also not 100% straight. Adjustable bridge allows to find your favorite action. The guitar is perfect for blues and jazz music but also works well for other types of music. Unfortunately the pickguard is missing.

New stings were set, fretboard was cleaned and oiled, Frets polished and Tuners oiled as well. The Tuners hold the tune very good.
