Mini Attenuated VCA - Passive vactrol based VCA/gate - 0HP

Add a VCA anywhere in any patch, seriously, just plug it in and go. This tiny VCA eliminates the need for extra patch cables or a separate module, simply add it to any pre existing patch.

This is the same design as the original VCA with a knob added for attenuation.

Middle input is for control voltage, the remaining two can be used as input/output in either direction. Knob controls how much CV reaches the vactrol. All the way to the right is fully open, all the way left is fully closed and in the middle is volume adjustment with a nice pluckey effect as the VCA closes

2022 update improves on the responsiveness and makes the VCA capable of shorter "plucky" effects.

These are all made to order by hand, each VCA contains a DIY optocoupler (vactrol).
