Marshall JTM45 Bluesbreaker Combo 1990 a rare 1 owner amp used in his living room w/original cover.

The Marshall ‘Bluesbreaker’ model was one of the defining amps of the 1960s, though it was rapidly eclipsed by much higher powered and ever-louder models. The real, original name was the Marshall model 1961, a 30 watt combo amp with 4×10 inch speakers built for Eric Clapton. That was quickly replaced with a 2×12 version, the model 1962. The 1962 was what Clapton used while in John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, and that gave the amp its nickname. The 1962 was produced from 1964 to 1972. Here we’re looking at a reissue of the JTM Tremolo 50 Bluesbreaker amp, built during 1990 in Bletchley, England. This amp is in great working order, with slight scuffing of the lower tolex. It has two Celestion G12M 25 watt Greenback speakers. Tubes are 5881’s, a change from the original design KT66; this change was due to the KT66 being out of production at the time of reissue. Though the back panel of the chassis you can see the upside down head w/a Plexiglas panel that clearly says ‘Tremolo 50W’, the amp actually puts out between 30 and 45 watts. Its is in all original exceptionably clean living room condition complete w/its foot switch & factory cover.
