We sold this back in 2020 to a guy in Australia, during the height of covid, shipped it there and their postal system would not let it into the country, and was returned to us. I stuck it on a shelf with other shipping/shipped concerns, and kind of forgot about it. Pretty sad. Here is the original post;
Maybe 20 years ago we took in a 1952 P Bass that was in horrible shape- the black guard, neckplate, bridge (#52) and cover were intact, the body was cracked down the middle, routed, rough. We got it up and going, and looking good in Sherwood Green Metallic, but kept the parts, and for the most part have no idea where we stashed them. We have been doing a big clean up at the shop, and the bridge cover popped up. So here you go! Thanks for looking.
PS Pickguard picture up. It really was a '52. we also have the non serialized back plate, and the bridge is around here somewhere.
