OK, here's the deal on this amazing sounding amplifier. This was one of
the last batch of Express Amps before Ken Fishers passed away, I'm
selling it for a friend who was close to Ken. In the last few years Ken
would have amplifiers manufactured to his specs then he had them shipped
to him where he would complete and tune the amplifiers. This is one of
those amplifiers, it was recovered from his mom's basement after Ken's
death it was nearly complete but without a cabinet so we had the
original cabinet maker (who made the cabinet for special projects
including the Songwriter) build a cabinet for this amp. Just to be
clear, it was not finished Ken and is not signed or named by Ken, he did put the power supply in but I'm not sure what other work was done by Ken. As far
as the sound goes, I can only describe it as amazing, It uses two
selected J J EL 34 tubes for power. I've owned and used about every
vintage amplifier made and the sound of this amp is so much better you
just can't believe it. I never understood why Trainwrecks were so
sought after until I used the amp. Please feel free to ask questions and
I will offer a return on this but must be notified within 3 days.
Return shipping will be paid by the buyer.
