Special Gold Edition! This is our take on a legendary clean boost/overdrive. Far from a straight clone, we wanted to see if we could accomplish a sweeter, bigger sounding pedal and also make some substantial changes to the circuit.
Does it sound like the original? It definitely does, but has slightly bigger bass, smoother treble, and a less “fuzzy” breakup when the gain is cranked.
The BowDrive shines when pushing an amp’s front end, or stacking with other pedals, whether before or after them.
It has the huge mids you’d expect, and also the giant boost capabilities. It sounds great with single coil pickups or humbuckers, and many guitarists leave it on all the time.
It cleans up very well from the guitar’s volume knob .
