Up for sale is a vintage Tokai PB40 Hard Puncher Precision Bass in a classic Black finish. This is a fantastic Japanese-made P-bass that delivers that iconic, woody, and punchy tone Tokai is famous for. If you are looking for a reliable workhorse with vintage mojo, this is the one.
Condition:
- Visual: The bass shows clear signs of use, including some scratches, dings, and honest playwear (please see photos for details). It has a great broken-in vintage look. On the back of the headstock, near the tuning peg, there is a barely noticeable, securely glued crack.
- Functional: Excellent working condition. The electronics work perfectly, and the pickup sounds great.
- Neck & Frets: The neck is nice and straight. Truss rod functions as it should. There is plenty of fret life left, so it plays smoothly all across the fretboard without any major buzz.
- Model: Tokai PB40 Hard Puncher
- Color: Black
The bass will be securely packed for shipping. Feel free to ask any questions or request more photos before buying!
- Serial Number: 110894
- Country of Origin: Japan
