The most underrated Les Paul models out there :

They were the ancestors of the "Faded" series, aimed to make cheaper, more affordable Les Pauls inspired by the more simple body of the "Special" series with P90's. But unlike the "Faded" series they do not have a satin finish but a gloss nitrocellulose finish (this one has some checking already) and Humbuckers (498T and 490R pickups) instead of P90's. It also has a belly cut which is very rare on Les Paul models.

This specific one is one of those with mini trapezoid inlays, some with dot inlays exist depending on the year they were made, it has quite a few dings and marks of play, the 2 biggest one being on the last 2 pictures. The pickup covers have been removed by a luthier and will be sold with the guitar, it was setup and intonated for 11/49 by the same luthier who removed the pickup covers and plays like a dream, the action is low and the frets are super healthy.
