Gibson ES-335TD 1968 - Sparkling Burgundy

This is a very cool 1968 Gibson ES-335TD finished in original and rare sparkling burgundy.
Over the decades, the sparkling burgundy faded to all sorts of different hues of gold and amber. Also, the metallic particles in the finish oxidized to a nice greenish color.
A very cool look.
The only modification the guitar received is a stop tailpiece - which is an original piece of hardware from the 60ies - and new frets.
Otherwise it is completely original.
A different bridge with brass saddles is installed at the moment. The original bridge with original nylon saddles come with the guitar.
It plays very nice due to the new frets with low action.
The trapeze tailpiece is included and could be reinstalled.
I sourced some original knobs from the 60ies to give it a different look. But the original witch hat knobs are of course included.
Comes with its original Ess&Ess case and also a sales brochure from 1968 - the whole package.
