The Aquila Corde 13O Red Series Arabic Oud Strings combine modern material technology with a design specifically tailored to the Arabic oud. The complete set of strings features a balanced standard tension and has been developed to ensure reliable response, high stability and a harmonious playing feel across all strings.

For the treble strings, Aquila utilises high-performance Sugar bioplastic, whilst the wound strings are predominantly fitted with a red, hypoallergenic copper winding. This design reduces unwanted fret noise when playing with the left hand. For the D string, Aquila uses a special grey metal alloy as standard, which is designed for high durability, stability and a balanced tonal character within the entire set. The Red Series thus offers a modern string solution for discerning oud players.
