Tone & Electronics

The Alnico 4 magnet paired with a 9.75 kΩ DC resistance and 3.444H inductance produces a warm yet defined neck tone with smooth low-mids and articulate treble response. The 42 AWG wire contributes to the pickup's balanced frequency response, delivering excellent note clarity without excessive harshness—ideal for both clean and overdriven applications.

Design & Build

This neck model features 4-conductor wiring for flexible coil-splitting options and phase-reversal capabilities, enabling tonal versatility beyond standard neck-position operation. Manufactured in Santa Barbara, California, the pickup is built to Seymour Duncan's rigorous quality standards and integrates seamlessly with most neck positions thanks to its short mounting legs and maple spacer construction.
