This is a vintage Boosey & Hawkes Emperor clarinet pitched in the key of A. Manufactured in England in 1968, serial no. A455743 and has had very little use.
This instrument features a premium African grenadillo wood body. It is a highly sought-after model for orchestral and classical players looking for an affordable, quality "A" instrument.
Wood: Meticulously inspected inside and out, the dark grenadilla body shows absolutely no hairline cracks, pinning or structural damage. Machanics: Silver-plated keyword is exceptionally bright, clean, and mechanically sound with excellent spring tension.
Pads and corks: Fully serviced 4 years ago and carefully stored in a controlled environment. The pads are clean, intact and seated well. Tenor corks are all firm.
