Up for sale is a historic piece of modern fuzz history: the 2015 British Pedal Company 50th Anniversary Tone Bender MK I, officially designated as Serial Number 01 out of only 50 units produced worldwide.
This limited production run from British Pedal Company meticulously recreates the legendary 1965 Gary Hurst three-transistor circuit. It offers the iconic aggressive, gated, mid-forward roar that defined early British rock. As the highly coveted Serial Number 01, this unit represents the absolute peak of investment-grade gear.
Provenance & Environment
- Ownership: Strictly one owner since new.
- Environment: Kept exclusively in a premium, non-smoking, pet-free studio.
- Usage: Very minimal, light studio use only. It has never been gigged, gig-bagged, or stepped on with dirty shoes.
Condition & Cosmetics
- Pedal State: Excellent collector's grade condition. It exhibits very few, negligible signs of usage (please inspect the photos carefully to verify its cosmetic condition). Minor scratches on finish are visible.
- Functionality: 100% fully functional. The internal vintage-spec germanium circuit operates perfectly, delivering raw, authentic 1965 fuzz without any electronic issues. And Yes, this one does go to Eleven! ;)
