Build #38 of a tantalisingly small production run, this is a genuine pre-Lovepedal original from the era collectors specifically seek out. The Zendrive was designed to capture the elusive, touch-sensitive compression and saturation of the mythical Dumble Overdrive Special — the amp that defined the tones of Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, and John Mayer — and Hermida's original hand-built units are widely considered the closest any pedal has come to that sound. Vol, Gain, Tone, and Voice controls give you an enormous range from glassy, clean-pushed transparency to singing, harmonically rich overdrive that blooms and breathes with every nuance of your playing. This example is in excellent condition — a genuine piece of boutique pedal history, signed and dated by the man who built it.
