About this listing
The Washburn Deep Forest EBONY ACE Grand Auditorium Electro Acoustic Guitar - Natural Matte is built to deliver a rich low-end and a level of tonal warmth that is uncommon in typical spruce-topped instruments. This model combines specific wood blends with an auditorium cutaway body shape to provide a highly articulate and balanced sound, making it a reliable choice for live performances, studio recording, or casual practice sessions. Tonewoods & Body Shape This model features a striking stripe ebony top paired with okoume back and sides, a combination that produces a warm acoustic voice with a natural compression effect. The grand auditorium shape and internal bracing ensure that each note remains clear and distinct across the entire frequency range. For the neck, a satin-finished mahogany wood is used alongside an engineered wood fretboard and dot inlays, offering a smooth playing surface over a standard twenty-five and a half inch scale length. Integrated Active Premp System While the instrument offers a full acoustic sound on its own, it is fully equipped for amplified environments using the onboard Barcus Berry LX4 active electronics package. This preamp system allows the guitar to transition seamlessly to a stage amplifier or public address system without losing its natural warmth. The side-mounted control panel gives the player direct access to essential sound-shaping tools, including a discreet digital tuner for quick and accurate tuning adjustments.
