Vintage Vox Kensington Bass V124 / V1241 – 1960s – 22-Watt Bass AmplifierHere’s a rare opportunity to own a genuine piece of 1960s Vox history — the Vox Kensington Bass, model V124/V1241.The Kensington Bass was introduced in late 1967 and first appeared in the 1968 Vox “The Sound That Travels With The Stars” catalog. Designed as a compact bass amplifier, the Kensington delivered 22 watts RMS / 45 watts peak through a single 15" 4-ohm Jensen/Vox speaker.The Kensington featured a straightforward control layout designed specifically for bass, with Volume and Tone-X controls, dual 1/4" inputs, power switch, indicator lamp, and line-reverse switch.
