Overview

The Vox AC-4, originally introduced in 1958 as the AC-2 and then briefly in 1960 as the AC-6, was the company's offering for a small home practice / student amp with built-in tremolo effect. After a few model number, cabinet and speaker size changes, Dick Denney and Vox settled on the 1x8" AC-4 found here, which today makes for an awesome, affordable way to get into the vintage Vox sound for studio recording.
