The torrefied spruce top has a slightly aged character right out of the gate—warm, responsive, and articulate. Paired with the maple back and sides, it delivers clear note definition, excellent projection, and that signature maple clarity without harshness. The traditional X-bracing contributes a balanced, musical voice that sits beautifully for both fingerstyle and flatpicking, with a fuller midrange presence than the later V-Class versions.
Condition
Excellent overall. The guitar shows only light, honest signs of careful use. No cracks, repairs, or structural issues. Frets are in great shape with plenty of life. Action is comfortable and the neck is straight. Electronics function perfectly. The finish retains a nice gloss with only minimal playing wear.
This is a versatile stage- and studio-ready Grand Auditorium that still carries the classic 600-series maple voice from before the V-Class transition. Includes original Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
