Takamine's GN77KCE represents the brand's commitment to premium construction with all-koa build and professional-grade electronics. This NEX cutaway design delivers both tonal richness and stage-ready amplification, making it equally suited for studio sessions and live performance. The natural gloss finish showcases the koa's figuring while maintaining the durability expected from Takamine's engineering standards.
Construction & Materials
The all-koa construction—top, back, and sides—combined with a mahogany neck and laurel fingerboard creates a balanced tonal palette with warm midrange and articulate treble response. Gold die-cast tuners and abalone rosette and dot inlays underscore the attention to detail, while the synthetic bone nut provides reliable sustain and tonal clarity.
Electronics & Playability
The onboard TP-4TD electronics include a tuner and active shelving EQ with dedicated bass, middle, and treble sliders, giving you precise control over your amplified tone without external gear. A 42.5mm nut width and 644mm scale length deliver comfortable fretting ergonomics and responsive string tension suitable for fingerstyle and pick-driven techniques alike.
