Squier MIJ Vintage Series SST JV Stratocaster with Rosewood Fretboard 1982 - 1984 - 3-Color Sunburst
Raleigh, NC, United States
About this listing
This an unusual gibson scale length original JV strat. Serial number JV97568. Very few of these were made. Neck heel shows it was a tobacco sunburst which I stripped of the poly finish. Had it refretted with 6105's, upgraded pups to fender custom 69's, and had the pots and caps upgraded. the guitar is finished in 5 coats of tru oil. frets in great shape as are the electronics. I've had this for 16 years and obviously did my thing to it. The 24 3/4 scale length makes this a very easy playing guitar. rosewood finger board is dark and beautiful. Much better sounding without the thick poly finish although I realize price would be more with original finish. Look up the serial number for more info. Guitar was last set up by John Behorscte (spelling?) at we buy guitars in Wantagh Long Island with 6105 frets.
