Bought new in 2016. This is a GORGEOUS ride - has characteristics of pretty old A Zildjian rides but lower in fundamental pitch. Also at times sounds like a cousin of a Paiste 602 medium ride. Strong, clean bell. Nice wash that supports and doesn't get in the way. Crashes well with a big, lush, full tone. It's a home in Jazz, Fusion, and medium-volume Rock.For those who find only ONE parameter out of thirty in the sound of a cymbal to be disproportionately important: it weighs 2822 grams. If I sound harsh or judgmental about that, too bad. You're being ridiculous. Just LISTEN to it and let your ears decide. No cracks, keyholes, or flea bites. Over time as it was played some of the wire brush finish on the top got smoothed out. I've cleaned it quite a few times over the years so nearly all the logo ink is gone.This cymbal can be heard on several tracks from my 2021 album Living Music: "At the Gate" (which also features Gary Husband on keys), "Tabla Rasa," and "Before & Since."
