A superb example finished in Tobacco Sunburst, this guitar shows just a couple of very small nicks from the finish around the edge (worst of which is pictured). There is very light swirling to the back and some light fret wear. None of the above effect how the guitar plays and the frets have years of life left on them. The action is low, the playability is fast and the original electrics operate exactly as they should with a pull/push coil split tone control. The neck is PRS Standard and the guitar weighs in at 3.39kg. Supplied with the original PRS hard shell case, tremolo arm and case candy.

Overview

This "in-between" phase of the PRS Custom 24 marks the switch from Brazilian Rosewood to Indian Rosewood, though the 5-way rotary selector was still in place at this time, later replaced by a "blade" switch as is used on the most recent production guitars. This era also saw the first "explosion" of finish / color options offered by PRS.
