Taking its construction and appointments from the year many experts consider the company's sweet spot, the Martin D-28 Authentic 1937 is a modern flagship of acoustic craftsmanship. Employing Madagascar rosewood in the body and an Adirondack spruce top to emulate the original tonewood combination, the Authentic 1937 goes a step further with the patented Vintage Tone System (VTS), a torrefaction process which yields the tone of a well-preserved, decades-old D-28. A new guitar with the soul of a vintage instrument.
