Featuring its original finish and a completely crack-free body, this vintage instrument (serial #3634XX) delivers a beautiful, deep, and rich mahogany tone that is perfect for any vintage enthusiast.This is an exceptionally clean example. The back of the neck is almost entirely free of blemishes, save for a handful of light scuffs and a light impression. The neck is straight and easy to play, with minor fret wear, mostly on the first few frets. There is no bridge lifting, and there is plenty of saddle showing. There is no evidence of the neck ever having been reset, and no reason to believe it will need one anytime soon. Cosmetically, the original finish has some light checking, minor paint shrinkage, and a few small dings and scratches, all consistent with age and captured as clearly as possible in the photos. The original pickguard was replaced because it was shrinking and curling, a common issue for this era. It has been replaced with a genuine, New Old Stock (NOS) Martin pickguard that fits perfectly.The guitar comes with a Pro-Tec soft shell case in great condition.
