1967 Martin D18. The original bridge has been shaved a little, there is an sound jack hole on lower right bout and 2 expertly plugged holes in bridge and bridge plate. The bridge work is so skillful, it's hard to see the plugged holes, even up close. Closeup photos of the bridge as well as the underside of the original small maple ridge plate have been provided.This D-18 has lots of spider crazing, dings and scratches as seen in the photos. Small missing piece of wood at sound hole. Perhaps there is a microscopic crack or two somewhere on the guitar but no matter how closely I look, I can't find a single one, not on the top, the sides or the back. And I've tried! Two major scratches on the back but otherwise looking good. Healthy tight bracing and most important, this D-18 retains its original small maple bridge plate. It's a road warrior for sure but one that just has the "look", the vibe and most important, "The Sound" you hope for in a 60's D-18, a big rich tone with tons of head room and projection.$1,000 dollars of very skilled luthier work has been recently performed including neck reset, plugged bridge holes, bridge re-glue and extensive fretwork. As a result it plays wonderfully with low action and tons of saddle height.Non-original HSC
