Dave Krusen's Pearl Jam Era, Ludwig 14x6.5" LM402 Supraphonic Snare Drum. Signed ! 1977 Dave Krusen was the original drummer for Pearl Jam, joining the band in 1990 and recording their pivotal debut album "10". He played drums on every song on the album including some of the band's biggest and most memorable songs including Even Flow, Jeremy and Alive.The album rocketed the band to international attention and acclaim, positioning Pearl Jam in the upper stratosphere of the entire Grunge Rock scene, where they still remain and thrive 45 years later. Krusen left the band in 1991, just as the album was exploding all over the world. Though his time with the band was brief, his drumming helped define the band's sound and shape one of the most iconic albums of the 1990s.Dave rejoined Pearl Jam when he and the band were inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 and again in 2022 filling in for Pearl Jam's current drummer Matt Cameron. Following his era with Pearl Jam Krusen has played and recorded with Candlebox, Unified Theory, Hovercraft, and a host of others.This 1977 Ludwig 402 Supraphonic snare drum has been part of Dave Krusen's personal arsenal of snare drums since the 1980s. He's played the drum on countless recordings and performances both before and after his tenure with Pearl Jam. He played an identical Ludwig 402 while recording Pearl Jam's 10 album in 1991. This snare was available at these sessions, but never called on since his other Ludwig 402 snare was performing perfectly. While Dave Krusen never played this Ludwig 6.5x14" 402 Supraphonic snare drum while recording Pearl Jam's 10 album, it was in his possession while recording the album and is identical to the Ludwig 6.5x14 402 Supraphonic snare drum that he played on the album. The drum is in excellent working condition. It wears its battle scars proudly and years of grunge with honor. The snare throw-off handle is bent and the internal muffling system has been removed but there's nothing that get's in the way of the drum working and sounding just like it should.
